About the Role :

We are looking for a proactive and skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines, AWS deployments, automation, and server management. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth deployments, secure infrastructure, and optimized performance across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities :

1. CI/CD & Automation :

- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Jenkins).

- Automate build, test, and deployment processes.

- Maintain best practices for Git workflows, branching, merging, and conflict management.

2. Cloud Infrastructure (AWS Core Responsibility) :

AWS Server Deployment & Management :

- Set up, configure, and manage EC2 servers for various environments.

- Handle deployments on AWS using PM2, Nginx/Apache, Load Balancers, and Auto Scaling.

- Configure storage (EBS), snapshots, AMIs, backup policies, and failover strategies.

- Optimize server performance, monitoring, and scaling.

- Manage AWS services like S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM.

- Configure DNS management with Route53 and integrate Cloudflare if required.

- Ensure cost optimization and resource utilization across AWS infrastructure.

3. Containerization & Orchestration :

- Build and manage Docker images and containers.

- Experience with Kubernetes or AWS ECS/EKS is preferred.

4. Linux Server Management :

- Manage Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) servers with strong command-line operations.

- Configure firewalls, SSH access, secure keys, SSL certificates (Lets Encrypt/Cloudflare).

- Perform application deployments for Node.js, Next.js, Python, PHP, and API-based backends.

5. Monitoring, Logs & Maintenance :

- Set up and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch).

- Troubleshoot real-time production issues and conduct root cause analysis.

- Maintain clean logging, health checks, uptime reliability, and periodic system audits.

6. Security & Backups :

- Implement IAM roles, key policies, environment secrets, and access control.

- Enforce server hardening, firewall rules, HTTPS enforcement, SSH key rotation.

- Maintain automated backups for EC2, RDS, and S3 using lifecycle rules.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS EC2 server deployment and management.

- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, VPC, IAM, Route53).

- Linux/UNIX systems and shell scripting expertise.

- CI/CD knowledge with GitHub Actions / GitLab CI.

- Docker fundamentals and container management.

- Good understanding of networking (DNS, NAT, Load Balancers, Firewalls).

- Basic database understanding (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB).

Good to Have :

- Kubernetes experience.

- Terraform / CloudFormation (IaC).

- Experience with CI for mobile app builds (Android/iOS).

- Security tools and DevSecOps knowledge.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- 1-3 years of relevant DevOps experience.
