Job Description

Role Summary: (1 year contract)

The Agentic Ways of Working Lead will help Talent Success build new ways of working for HR, talent management, and talent development using AI-enabled tools, agents, workflow redesign, and practical product thinking.

This role is not just about knowing AI. It is about using emerging technology to solve messy, real business problems where the data may be imperfect, the systems may not be fully connected, and the ideal solution may not exist yet. The person in this role will build bridges between Talent Success, ITSS, People teams, and business users to design practical tools, workflows, prompts, prototypes, agents, and reusable patterns that improve how talent work gets done.

In 2026, this role will likely start by supporting priority Talent Success products such as performance, onboarding, coaching, AI Academy, skills, succession, and leadership development. The work will include solving current operational pain points while also building the architecture, reusable assets, and talent-specific agent capabilities that prepare the team for the future.

What This Role Will Own:

- Identify high-friction Talent Success workflows that can be simplified, automated, or redesigned through AI-enabled approaches.

- Build and test practical prototypes, prompts, agent workflows, knowledge structures, and lightweight tools that improve HR and talent operations.

- Partner with product owners across performance, onboarding, learning, coaching, skills, and succession to embed AI into the flow of work.

- Help convert repeatable HR tasks into scalable self-service or agent-assisted experiences.

- Design human-in-the-loop workflows where AI accelerates the work, but people retain judgment, empathy, governance, and final decision rights.

- Create reusable playbooks, prompt libraries, workflow maps, QA routines, and adoption materials for Talent Success.

- Partner with ITSS and relevant platform teams to connect Talent Success use cases to enterprise tools, systems, data sources, and guardrails.

- Support agent testing, prompt evaluation, workflow QA, and user feedback loops.

- Help Talent Success move from manual program delivery to productized, measurable, AI-augmented services.

- Teach and coach Talent Success team members on practical AI-enabled ways of working.

What Success Looks Like:

- Talent Success has a clear pipeline of AI-enabled use cases tied to real business and employee pain points.

- Priority workflows become faster, simpler, and less dependent on manual coordination.

- Product owners have working prototypes, agent concepts, or automation patterns they can test and improve.

- Talent Success builds internal capability instead of waiting for every platform vendor to solve the problem.

- Employees, managers, PBPs, and Talent Success team members experience simpler access to guidance, nudges, content, and support.

- The team has reusable assets: prompt libraries, workflow templates, QA rubrics, agent instructions, intake patterns, and measurement loops.

- AI-enabled work remains governed, explainable, and human-centered.

Ideal Background:

- Strong practical experience using AI tools to build workflows, prototypes, automations, knowledge assistants, or agent-like solutions.

- Product mindset with the ability to define problems, test quickly, gather feedback, and iterate.

- Technical curiosity and enough hands-on skill to build, configure, test, and troubleshoot solutions not just talk about them.

- Experience in HR, talent management, learning, people analytics, workforce transformation, or internal tools is strongly preferred.

- Comfort working with imperfect systems, incomplete data, and fast-changing requirements.

- Ability to translate between technical teams and HR / Talent stakeholders.

- Experience with tools such as Glean, Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Workday, Visier, Udemy, Slack workflows, Monday.com, Airtable, or similar platforms is helpful.

- Background in HR technology, product operations, workflow automation, learning technology, people analytics, or digital transformation would fit well.

Core Capabilities:

- Systems thinking.

- Workflow design.

- Product management instincts.

- Prompt and agent instruction design.

- Prototyping and experimentation.

- Strong technical learning agility.

- HR and talent process understanding.

- Data and measurement orientation.

- User experience judgment.

- Governance and risk awareness.

- Change enablement and adoption.

- Ability to simplify complexity and make tools usable for non-technical audiences.

What This Role Is Not:

- This is not a traditional HR program manager role.

- This is not a pure technologist role disconnected from people work.

- This is not a strategy-only role that creates slides but no working solutions.

- This is a builder role. The person should be able to understand the talent problem, imagine a better workflow, build or prototype the solution, test it with users, improve it, and help the organization adopt it.
