Role Overview :

As a Dynatrace Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the performance, availability, and scalability of our critical applications and infrastructure. Your day-to-day will involve monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing system performance using Dynatrace, collaborating with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their performance requirements and translate them into actionable monitoring and alerting strategies. Your efforts will directly contribute to improved user experience, reduced downtime, and enhanced business outcomes by proactively identifying and resolving performance issues before they impact our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement and maintain Dynatrace monitoring solutions across various environments, ensuring comprehensive visibility into application and infrastructure performance for development and operations teams.

- Analyze Dynatrace data to identify performance bottlenecks, root cause issues, and provide actionable recommendations for optimization to improve application responsiveness and stability for end-users.

- Collaborate with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to implement performance tuning strategies and best practices, resulting in improved system efficiency and reduced resource consumption for the organization.

- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and alerts in Dynatrace to proactively identify and address performance issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact on business operations for stakeholders.

- Automate Dynatrace configuration and deployment processes to streamline monitoring setup and maintenance, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort for the team.

- Provide training and support to other teams on Dynatrace usage and best practices, fostering a culture of performance awareness and enabling them to effectively monitor and troubleshoot their applications for the organization.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in implementing and configuring Dynatrace for comprehensive application and infrastructure monitoring.

- Proven ability to analyze performance data, identify bottlenecks, and recommend effective solutions for performance tuning.

- Strong understanding of system administration principles and practices, including experience with Linux/Windows server environments.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
