Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Developer to design, develop, and customize solutions within the Dynamics 365 F&O platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with X++, integrations, extensions, and the application lifecycle management (ALM) process in D365.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop customizations and extensions using X++ in Dynamics 365 F&O.

- Customize standard forms, reports, workflows, and business logic per business needs.

- Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using OData, REST, and custom services.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Create technical documentation including design specifications and deployment guides.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and bugs.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, testers, and business users for requirement gathering and UAT.

- Use Azure DevOps for code versioning, builds, and deployments.

- Implement and follow best practices in coding, performance tuning, and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or D365 F&O.

- Proficient in X++, SQL, and MorphX.

- Strong understanding of D365 extensibility model, event handlers, and chain of command.

- Experience with Data Entities, Batch Jobs, Number Sequences, Workflows, and Security Roles.

- Experience in integrating Dynamics 365 with external systems (OData, REST, file-based, etc.).

- Familiarity with LCS, Azure DevOps, and Build/Release Pipelines.

- Working knowledge of Finance, SCM, or other D365 functional modules.

- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
