DXC - SAP ABAP Workflow Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP ABAP Workflow Consultant with 1012 years of technical expertise, including significant exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering robust ABAP solutions aligned with business requirements, particularly focusing on SAP Workflow management and complex system integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain custom ABAP solutions based on design and functional specifications.

- Lead the design and implementation of SAP Workflow solutions, including scenario-based and rule-based workflows.

- Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Support and enhance SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, HR, etc.) through custom developments (Reports, Interfaces, Extensions, Forms, Workflows).

- Develop and maintain ALV Reports, SmartForms, SAPScripts, and Adobe Forms.

- Design and implement Web Dynpro ABAP applications using Adaptive RFCs, Context Mapping, Custom Components, and NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI).

- Integrate SAP ECC / S/4HANA with external systems like Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur, and SWIFT for bank integration.

- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to ensure smooth implementation of enhancements and custom features.

- Perform unit testing, peer code reviews, and technical documentation of developed solutions.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues related to custom code and workflows.

- Design and develop EDI/IDOC mappings, ensuring seamless data exchange with third-party systems.

- Support end-user training, conduct internal knowledge transfers, and provide post-go-live support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 1012 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and technical consulting.

- Extensive experience in SAP Workflow development and troubleshooting.

- Strong understanding of S/4HANA architecture and SAP Fiori integration.

- Proficiency in developing custom Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEFW).

- Expertise in ABAP Web Dynpro, NWDI, RFCs, Web Services, and OData services.

- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and solution delivery across various SAP modules.

- Familiarity with modern development practices, code optimization, and SAP best practices.

- Strong knowledge of IDOCs, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and enhancement frameworks.

- Ability to independently manage tasks, communicate effectively, and deliver high-quality outputs.
