About the Role :

We are looking for a seasoned Java Full Stack Developer to join our Application Support and Development team. In this dual-capacity role, you will not only maintain and support existing enterprise applications but also actively contribute to ongoing enhancements and backend development work.

This role involves working on a Spring MVC and REST-based Java stack, interacting with Oracle databases, and integrating with other services across a service-oriented architecture (SOA). A keen eye for debugging, performance optimization, and collaborating in an Agile team are essential.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide Level 2/3 application support for Java-based enterprise applications.

- Debug and resolve production issues in a timely manner, including root cause analysis and patch deployment.

- Monitor application logs and performance metrics to proactively identify and mitigate issues.

- Coordinate with business users, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure incident resolution and service availability.

- Develop new modules and enhance existing applications using Java EE, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and REST APIs.

- Write and optimize complex Oracle SQL queries and PL/SQL stored procedures.

- Apply object-oriented design principles and Java best practices to develop robust, scalable code.

- Contribute to the design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation of software components.

- Work in Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and DevOps.

- Ensure that all code meets quality standards through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to development methodologies.

- Use Git/BitBucket for version control, Maven/Gradle for builds, and Jenkins/Nexus/SonarQube for continuous integration and code quality.

- Contribute to build and deployment automation in alignment with DevOps best practices.

Technical Skill Set :

Must-Have :

- Strong proficiency in Java EE, Spring MVC, and RESTful APIs

- Experience with Hibernate/JPA

- Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (queries, triggers, stored procedures)

- Web services : JAX-RS, JAX-WS

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
