Job Description
Were looking for a Head of Infrastructure and Operations who expects more from their career. The Head of Infrastructure & Operations leads cloud engineering squads across the cloud core services such as Kubernetes Hosting, Developer Tooling, Security, and Reliability. This role drives scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on GCP and Azure to support modern application needs. It demands deep technical leadership, a strong focus on automation, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
Cloud Strategy & Execution :
- Define and drive cloud strategy across Azure & GCP in line with business goals.
- Lead cloud migrations, hybrid cloud planning, and cloud-native architecture initiatives.
- Assess and adopt emerging cloud technologies for business value and resilience.
Platform Engineering & Automation :
- Oversee scalable infrastructure using Terraform and DevOps best practices.
- Lead Kubernetes adoption and CI/CD pipeline management (GitLab).
- Champion SRE and platform engineering to boost reliability and developer experience.
Security, Compliance & Governance :
- Embed security controls in infrastructure design and operations.
- Enforce IAM, tagging, and governance policies across Azure AD & GCP IAM.
- Lead audit responses and ensure compliance across cloud environments.
Operations & Cost Optimization :
- Monitor cloud performance, availability, and costs.
- Drive cost optimization, capacity planning, and incident management.
- Lead root cause analysis and post-mortems for cloud-related issues.
Leadership & People Development :
- Lead and grow high-performing cloud, DevOps, and security squads.
- Foster technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor future leaders and build deep technical capabilities.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management :
- Align infrastructure with application and business needs.
- Manage cloud vendors and support contracts effectively.

- Strategic thinker with a strong grasp of aligning technical roadmaps to business goals.
- Effective communicator and influencer, skilled at driving alignment across teams and senior stakeholders.
- Deep expertise in cloud-native infrastructure, especially on GCP and Azure.
- Strong architecture background in scalable systems, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience with multi-tenant platforms and platform-as-a-product delivery models.
- Proven leadership of high-performing, globally distributed engineering teams
