Duck Creek Configuration/Integration Developer

About The Role :

We are seeking a talented Duck Creek Distribution Management System (DMS) Configuration / Integration Developer to join our growing insurance technology team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Duck Creek DMS with hands-on experience in configuration, integration development, and implementing producer/agency management solutions.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and QA teams to deliver scalable distribution and producer management solutions for P&C insurance carriers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and customize Duck Creek DMS to support producer lifecycle management (onboarding, licensing, appointments, compensation, and hierarchy management).

- Develop integration solutions with external systems (policy, billing, claims, CRM, licensing systems) using APIs, web services, and middleware.

- Configure rules, forms, workflows, user interface (UI) components, and transaction types in DMS.

- Develop and maintain batch processes, messaging, and plug-ins to support complex distribution processes.

- Work closely with business analysts and architects to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization for DMS modules and integrations.

- Support production implementations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to coding and security standards.

- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3- 8 years of IT experience with 3+ years in Duck Creek Distribution Management System (DMS).

- Hands-on expertise in Duck Creek Author, Expression Builder, XML/JSON, OOTB components.

- Strong knowledge of producer/agency management workflows (licensing, appointments, compensation, incentives, and hierarchy).

- Experience in integration development using SOAP, REST APIs, JSON, XML, SQL, and middleware tools.

- Proficiency in .NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL Server/Oracle.

- Experience with Duck Creek Anywhere API or integrations with Policy, Billing, and Claims systems.

- Understanding of P&C insurance distribution and channel management processes.

Good to Have :

- Duck Creek DMS certification or other Duck Creek product certifications.

- Experience with cloud deployments (Azure/AWS).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

- Knowledge of Guidewire or other InsurTech platforms for broader ecosystem integration.
