Job Description

Role : Duck Creek Claims Developer

We are looking for an experienced Duck Creek Claims Developer with 6+ years of hands-on expertise in configuring, customizing, and enhancing the Duck Creek Claims platform (preferably v10 or v11). The ideal candidate should possess deep technical knowledge of Duck Creek architecture, strong .NET and JavaScript development skills, and a good understanding of the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.


Key Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and customize Duck Creek Claims components, including Pages, Skins, Manuscripts, Forms, and Batch Processing

- Work on medium to complex business requirements, translating functional specs into scalable technical solutions

- Develop, maintain, and optimize integrations within the Duck Creek ecosystem and with external policy/claims systems

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, BA, Product Owners) to ensure quality and timely delivery

- Analyze and resolve technical issues and production support tickets

- Perform code reviews, participate in architecture/design discussions, and contribute to best practices

- Ensure adherence to SDLC processes and documentation standards

- Support deployment and configuration across multiple environments


Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in Duck Creek Claims development

- Proficient in Duck Creek Claims configuration and customization (v10/v11 preferred)

- Expertise in Manuscript Development, Pages and Skins, Batch Processing, Forms Integration & Rating

- Experience with Duck Creek OnDemand or SaaS implementations

- Strong knowledge of Policy-Claims integrations

- Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, JavaScript, XML, and SQL Server

- Strong understanding of Duck Creek architecture and tools

- Good knowledge of P&C Insurance


Preferred Skills / Nice to Have :

- Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Familiarity with Duck Creeks Cloud architecture and environment management

- Understanding of data modeling and performance tuning in SQL Server
