Role Overview :

As a Senior AWS Backend Engineer at Droisys, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems on the AWS cloud platform.

You will collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our backend infrastructure, ultimately contributing to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable and resilient backend architectures on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance for critical applications.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Python frameworks like Django and Flask, enabling seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.

- Build and deploy serverless functions using AWS Lambda, optimizing resource utilization and reducing operational overhead.

- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure components, including EC2 instances, SQS queues, ECS clusters, and Step Functions workflows, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

- Design and implement data storage solutions using SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient data retrieval.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of backend services, ensuring rapid and reliable releases.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.

- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable and resilient backend systems on AWS, leveraging services like Lambda, SQS, ECS/EKS, and Step Functions.

- Proven expertise in developing RESTful APIs using Python frameworks such as Django and Flask, showcasing strong coding and problem-solving skills.

- Deep understanding of AWS infrastructure components and best practices, including security, networking, and cost optimization.

- Solid experience with SQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data integrity.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, product managers, and QA engineers.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
