Job Summary :


Collaborate with the business team to understand problems, objectives, and desired outcomes. BuildML /Statistical solutions to achieve the outcomes. Work closely with various teams in Bangalore and the US


Roles & responsibilities :


1. Work with cross-functional teams to assess data science use cases & solutions.


2. Lead and execute end-to-end data science projects.


3. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of data solutions with business goals.


4. Build custom data models with an initial focus on content classification.


5. Utilize advanced machine learning techniques to improve model accuracy and performance.


6. Build necessary visualizations to interpret data models by business teams.


7. Work closely with the engineering team to integrate models into production systems.


8. Monitor model performance in production and make improvements as necessary.


9. Stay up to date with the latest developments in machine learning and AI. Review relevant research literature and apply applicable methodologies or insights to address the problem effectively.


10. Mentor junior data scientists.


Mandatory Skills :


1. Masters degree (or equivalent experience) in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field with 3+ years of experience in ML/Data Science/Predictive Analytics.


2. Strong programming skills in Python and experience with standard data science tools and libraries(Pandas, NumPy, Scipy, NLTK, Spark, Docker, TensorFlow, PyTorch, sci-kit-learn, etc.).


3. Experience or understanding of deploying machine learning models in production on at least one cloud platform (GCP, AWS, etc.).


4. Hands-on experience with LLMs API (OpenAI, Hugging Face) and ability to craft effective prompts to guide LLMs towards desired outputs.


5. A creative knack for solving hard problems in statistics, machine learning, and optimization.


6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and adept at working with multiple stakeholders.


7. Writing clear and concise technical reports.


Good to have skills :


1. Experience in the Media domain


2. Familiarity with vector databases like Milvus


3. E-commerce or taxonomy classification experience
