Dot & Key Skincare - Senior Full Stack Developer - Shopify/React Native

Job Title : Senior Full Stack Developer.

Location : Kolkata (Onsite Work from Office).

Role Overview :

As the Senior Full Stack Shopify Developer, you will take ownership of our e-commerce and mobile platforms.

Youll lead a team of developers (Shopify and React Native), ensuring timely delivery, code quality, and performance.

You will also play a key role in architectural decisions, optimizations, and cross-platform integrations.

Key Responsibilities :

Tech Leadership :

- Conduct code reviews, define best practices, and enforce coding standards.

- Translate product and business needs into well-architected technical solutions.

- Drive sprint planning, task allocation, and daily team standups.

Shopify Commerce :

- Optimize site performance, SEO, Core Web Vitals, and Lighthouse metrics.

Mobile App Oversight :

DevOps & CI/CD :

- Ensure smooth deployment, rollback, and version control processes.

API & Integration :

- Work on REST/GraphQL-based Shopify Admin & Storefront APIs.

Reporting & Strategy :

- Recommend architectural and tooling improvements to improve developer velocity.

Database and backend :

- Will work on backend to create APIs for integrating different applications in-and-out of the organisation.

Required Skills :

- Proven experience in leading small development teams.

Strong proficiency in :

- Headless frontends (React.js, Next.js).

- React Native for cross-platform mobile apps.

- REST/GraphQL APIs, CI/CD tools, Git, and performance optimization.

- Sound understanding of agile/scrum processes and task management tools.

- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Bitbucket/GitHub, Vercel, and Firebase.

- Working knowledge of analytics tools (GA4, GTM), and push notifications.

- Should have experience of working with one frontend end backend language respectively followed by knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

Qualification and Industry :

- A Masters degree or equivalent experience in software engineering, web technologies, or e-commerce is a plus.
