Job Description

About Us :

Dot Ai doesnt operate in the cloud. We bend it into shape.

We fused patented IoT hardware, AI-powered SaaS, and real-time intelligence into a living network that predicts, analyzes, and reacts before the world even knows whats happening. Our Puerto Rico manufacturing powerhouse builds devices that outthink the industry. Our engineering labs turn ideas into dominance. And our platform takes logistics from slow and stupid to fast and prophetic.

Competitors are still filing tickets while our system is already solving the problem.

About the Role :

The Cloud Operations and Monitoring Engineer is the unseen force keeping Dot Ais platform bulletproof. When the industry brags about uptime, we smirk because this seat is the reason everything runs flawlessly.

This role maintains full visibility into every metric, every heartbeat, every process running across the cloud. When performance shifts, latency spikes, or infrastructure gets cute, this role catches it before the world even blinks. Incidents dont get to evolve. Problems dont get to hide. The Cloud Ops and Monitoring Engineer keeps the entire ecosystem stable, scalable, fast, and fearless.

This is not maintenance. This is dominance through discipline.

What Youll Be Doing :

Turn monitoring into omniscience :

- Build dashboards in Grafana or cloud native tools that expose every signal worth knowing.

- Engineer alerting systems that stay quiet until it matters, then scream with purpose.

- Track utilization patterns and performance trends so growth never surprises the platform.

- Keep every part of the SaaS ecosystem accountable through ruthless observability.

Automate everything that slows progress :

- Convert repetitive operations into clean automation that eliminates busywork.

- Standardize logging, monitoring, and alerting across services so chaos has no place to hide.

- Strengthen processes that make the platform scale without flinching.

Own incident response like a battlefield commander :

- Serve as first responder during critical alerts, including a 24/7 on call rotation when required.

- Cut through symptoms to diagnose real root causes across network, database, application, and storage layers.

- Restore stability fast and reinforce the system so the issue never shows up again.

- Communicate clearly so teams know whats happening without guessing.

Build the operational bible :

- Create clean, accurate runbooks that work under pressure.

- Maintain documentation that actually explains without confusion.

- Turn every incident into a smarter system, a cleaner process, and a stronger platform.

What You Bring :

Youre not just technically sharp. Youre operationally ruthless. You see patterns others miss, fix problems before they surface, and treat uptime like a sacred responsibility.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 3+ years in Cloud Operations, SRE, or DevOps handling real production workloads.

- Deep expertise with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud mastery, not familiarity.

- Strong experience building and managing monitoring and alerting systems in live SaaS environments.

- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, DNS, load balancing, and security layers.

- Experience in B2B SaaS, ideally where software collaborates with physical or hybrid products.

- Hands on experience maintaining production databases under real performance and availability pressures.

Why Dot Ai :

Because most cloud teams manage uptime. We weaponize it.

Here your work doesnt just keep systems running. It keeps customers impressed, competitors overwhelmed, and the entire industry guessing how we operate at this level. Youll shape the cloud backbone of a company that runs on speed, precision, and excellence.

Competitive pay. Real benefits. A culture built for people who refuse mediocrity.

The Bottom Line :

If youre ready to own uptime and shape the future of cloud dominance as the Cloud Operations and Monitoring Engineer, the next move
