About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Documentum Admin with hands-on expertise in D2 (OpenText) to design, configure, and support Documentum-based content management solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong development and customization experience in D2 applications and related Documentum components.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, build, configure, and administer Documentum-based content management solutions in D2.
- Develop D2 applications from scratch including modules, workflows, lifecycles, and custom components.
- Work extensively with D2-config, C2, O2, Widgets, D2 REST, DFC, DFS, Composer, Process Builder, DAR installer, and other Documentum tools.
- Implement and manage custom plugin development, Jobs, Methods, Object Types, ACLs, TBO/SBO framework, and DQL/API scripting.
- Handle source code management and deployment pipelines using tools such as Eclipse, GitHub, Jenkins, and JFrog.
- Manage and execute migration from Webtop / WDK customisation to D2.
- Maintain technical documentation for ongoing and new D2 projects.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and quality standards.
- Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software releases.
- Provide support with Unix commands for application management.
- Deploy and troubleshoot on application servers such as JBoss and Tomcat.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Documentum D2 development and administration.
Strong hands-on skills in :
- D2-config, C2, O2
- Lifecycle, Workflows, Widgets
- D2 REST, DFC, DFS
- Process Builder & Composer
- TBO/SBO, DQL, API
- Object types & ACLs
- Experience with migration from Webtop/WDK to D2.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and code repository tools (GitHub, Jenkins, JFrog).
- Exposure to JBoss/Tomcat application servers.
- Working knowledge of Unix environments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
