Dmart - Cloud Architect - IAC Terraform

Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

Infrastructure Management :

- Lead the implementation of infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning and management.

- Lead and manage the cloud security posture initiatives working alongside the security operations team.

- Design and implement container orchestration strategies using Kubernetes (GKE/AKS etc to ensure scalable and resilient application delivery.

- Architect and manage Kubernetes (GKE) clusters , including provisioning , scaling , networking

, monitoring and CI/CD pipeline integration.

- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure architecture meets

performance, security, and compliance requirements.

- Provide guidance and best practices on cloud architecture, cost optimization, and governance.

- Lead cloud migration projects and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

- Develop and maintain architectural documentation, diagrams, and governance policies.

- Evaluate new cloud technologies and tools to improve architecture and operations.

- Proficiency in hybrid cloud networking, managing secure connections between on-premise

infrastructure and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Ensure high availability, backup , disaster recovery (RPO/RTO), and business continuity strategies are effective and tested.

Qualifications :

Education and Experience :

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture with focus on google cloud platform.

- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with GKE , container orchestration and Terraform

for infrastructure automation.

Technical Skills :

- Experience in Kubernetes (GKE/AKS) migration, network design, data migration strategies.

- Experience in setting up Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Understanding of the PaaS database Mongo & PostgresSQL database

- Strong understanding of CI/CD , GitOps

- Experience with monitoring tools like Kibana, and Grafana.
