- Oversee the design and development of low-latency voice AI systems, integrating ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition), TTS (Text-to-Speech), LLMs (Large Language Models), and NLP (Natural Language Processing) components.

- Collaborate closely with Product, Data Science, and Design teams to develop and deliver AI-powered applications that enhance customer experiences.

- Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including coding standards, architecture reviews, and continuous improvement frameworks.

- Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of systems and infrastructure through robust design and proactive monitoring.

- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the engineering organization.

- Drive cross-functional alignment, balancing technical trade-offs and business objectives effectively.

Required Qualifications :

- Minimum 12 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 6 years in engineering leadership, including managing managers and multiple teams.

- Demonstrated experience scaling complex technology platforms across different stages of growth.

- Strong technical background in distributed systems, data pipelines, or AI/ML-based products.

- Hands-on understanding of speech analytics, conversational AI, or large-scale SaaS platforms.

- Proficiency in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices-based architectures.

- Experience leading teams working with data engineering, ML models, and real-time streaming systems.

- Proven ability to build and mentor engineering teams, set performance goals, and develop leadership talent.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Alumni from IIT, NIT, BITS, or equivalent premier engineering institutes are preferred.

- Experience in AI/ML platform development, with a focus on large-scale deployment and optimization.

- Familiarity with modern technology stacks, including : Python, Go, FastAPI, Kafka, LangChain, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Redis, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP.

- Track record of leading high-impact engineering initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes.
