About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Director of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization. This role will be responsible for defining the engineering strategy, driving execution, and building high-quality, scalable, and secure products.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SaaS platforms, cloud architecture (AWS), and Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning technologies. This leader will work closely with product, data, and leadership teams to build innovative solutions and strengthen engineering practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 15+ years of experience in software engineering

- 5+ years of experience leading engineering managers and large teams

- Strong experience with large-scale SaaS platforms

- Deep knowledge of software architecture and distributed systems

- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure

- Hands-on exposure to AI / ML technologies and AI-powered product features

- Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and engineering processes

- Experience collaborating with product teams and executive leadership

Key Responsibilities :

Engineering Leadership :

- Lead and manage engineering managers, technical leaders, and development teams.

- Build and mentor a high-performing engineering organization.

- Drive a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Technology Strategy :

- Define and implement the engineering and technology roadmap.

- Ensure scalable, secure, and reliable platform architecture.

- Align engineering initiatives with business and product goals.

AI & ML Innovation :

- Lead AI and machine learning initiatives to enhance product capabilities.

- Integrate AI-driven features such as automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent workflows.

- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and tools to improve product innovation.

Architecture & Engineering Excellence :

- Ensure best practices across architecture design, coding standards, CI/CD, testing, and DevOps.

- Maintain high standards of software quality, performance, and reliability.

- Support scalable and consistent architecture across product teams.

Cross Functional Collaboration :

- Work closely with Product, Data, Security, and Operations teams.

- Partner with leadership to ensure successful product delivery and technology adoption.

- Act as a technical advisor for internal teams and stakeholders.
