Key Responsibilities

- Manage delivery pipeline of software engineering solutions for more than one business vertical.

- Collaborate with various teams including business, sales and marketing to define requirements, interfaces, implementation approaches and scalable and reusable solutions

- Drive technical excellence and implementation of best engineering practices such as estimation/pricing review, design review, code review, continuous integration/development (preferably Azure) and test-driven development

- Be a hands-on problem solver and lead from the front in continuously exploring new technology platforms

- Attract and retain diverse and highly skilled engineering talent with optimal utilization to maximize outputs

- Assemble and present technology delivery pitches to senior technical and non-technical audiences

- Work in a mutually interdependent structure spanning across business, technology and other functions helping unblock teams and resolving issues.

Desired Profile

- Graduate (BE/B.Tech)/ Masters (ME/M.Tech/MS) in Computer Science or equivalent from a premier institute with 14+ years' experience

- At least 7 years' experience in managing software delivery teams and multiple concurrent projects

- At least 3 years' experience in managing engineering managers/senior engineering managers and more than one development team

- Engineering experience in .NET based web applications with Angular Front End, with a large relational or NoSQL data store. Working experience in Hadoop and related technologies is a plus.

- Experience in developing high performance and scalable web applications with large databases

- Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum and Test-Driven Development

- Strong knowledge of software development best practices

- Capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stake holders

- Experience of developing web apps for various form factor devices like mobiles and tablets is a plus

- Experience in developing data engineering solutions using Azure Databricks or Snowflake is a plus

- Experience of working at a client location or direct client interface is a plus

- Experience in development of BI tools is a plus
