Director of Architecture

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Architecture to lead our enterprise architecture function, guiding the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.

This role is pivotal in aligning technology initiatives with business goals, driving innovation, and setting the architectural direction across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Technology Strategy & Vision :

- Provide leadership and direction on emerging technologies, digital transformation, and modernization initiatives.

Architecture Governance :

- Ensure consistency, reusability, scalability, and security across all solutions and platforms.

Team Leadership :

- Foster a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Solution Design & Oversight :

- Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust architectural designs.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Present architecture strategies and roadmaps to senior leadership and executive teams.

Risk Management & Compliance :

- Identify technology risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 15+ years of progressive experience in software architecture, systems design, and enterprise IT leadership.

- Proven experience in leading large-scale, complex architecture initiatives across distributed systems.

- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, DevOps, and data architecture.

- Solid understanding of security architecture, compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.), and enterprise integration patterns.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience working in agile, product-driven environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with enterprise SaaS, legacy modernization, or digital transformation projects.

- Background in industries like FinTech, HealthTech, Retail, or Telecom is a plus.
