The ASIC Director will lead chip development efforts which include design, verification, validation & physical design of complex WIFI SOC Client chipset. Manage logic design, verification, physical design team & drive hiring activities & mentor team members. In addition, you will plan, track & facilitate execution of ASIC projects from Architecture to tape-out. You will provide technical guidance & ensure timely completion of projects & achieve high quality bug free silicon.

Qualifications :

- Must have B.Tech or M.Tech in EE or CS & have a minimum of 15 yrs of relevant exp. in Low power SOC Client ASIC development from concept to production.

- Should have exp. both as a technical lead as well as a project manager.

- Must also have a strong understanding of all phases of front-end development in ASIC projects, including ASIC architecture, micro-architecture, RTL design, verification, timing closure, physical design & bring-up.

- Exp. in Wireless Networking & Network processing silicon is highly desired.

- Should be a proven leader, be able to build & manage teams in a combination of solid & dotted line management.

- Requires hands-on exp. with all stages of VLSI development as well as a proven track record of building & leading interdisciplinary teams in a similar setting.
