About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced AI specialist to lead the development and deployment of AI applications across sirrus as an organisation.

The role augments defining strategic priorities, manage a team of AI, machine learning and data science specialists, and ensure AI supports long-term business goals.

Core responsibilities include overseeing research and experimentation, aligning AI use cases with product and commercial strategy, guiding model governance, and reporting to executive stakeholders.

The profile also need to work across engineering, legal, and operations to manage risk and compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

The head of AI leads the strategy, development, and governance of AI systems across the business.

Responsibilities typically include :

- Setting vision and roadmap for AI use cases and platform capabilities.

- Managing teams across research, AI Engineering, and AI/MLOps functions.

- Overseeing deployment of AI models into production environments.

- Aligning AI initiatives with product and business goals.

- Ensuring ethical and compliant use of AI and data.

- Evaluating and selecting AI tooling, vendors, and infrastructure.

- Driving innovation through partnerships, pilots, and emerging tech.

- Reporting AI outcomes and ROI to executive leadership.

- Leading recruitment and capability development across AI functions.

- Collaborating with stakeholders across product, data, legal, and engineering teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelors/Master Degree in Computer Science or related field from one of the premier institutes in India/Abroad. IIT/IIIT/ISI/RECs would be preferred.

- 10 - 15 years of experience with 5+ years in the AI Technical and Solution architecture.

- Strong expertise in ML, deep learning, and Generative AI is a must.

- Deep expertise in integrating and training Large Language Models (LLMs), Large Multimodal Models (LMMs), Small Language Models (SLMs).

- Proven experience deploying enterprise-scale agentic AI systems including Model Context Protocol (MCP) client-host architecture.

- Experience in Agentic Calling, Multimodal Agents including vernacular support for Indian languages would be an added plus.

- In-depth understanding of AI governance and ethics.

- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, including emotional nuance, character consistency, and cinematic motion control for persona mapping/cloning solutions.

- Experience in training or fine-tuning AI/ML models for real estate construction and BIM design solutions.

- Hands-on experience with AI Agentic calling, including Vernacular and English language support.

- Clear understanding of AI limitations and effective workarounds to avoid uncanny or inconsistent results to avoid hallucinations.

- Experience performing AI-specific quality control, including fixing gesture issues, continuity problems, unnatural movements, and audio-visual mismatches.

- Ability to balance creative vision with technical constraints in fast-evolving AI environments.

- Knowledgeable in using CI/CD tools and DevOps technologies like Docker Kubernetes, and Microservices with Cloud environments like AWS/Azure/GCP.

- Exposure to Real Estate Technology platforms including Construction Management is preferred.

- Broad, operational knowledge of application servers, databases, load balancers and other infrastructure components required to deploy web applications in a highly available and scalable environment.

- Acquainted to multiple SQL, NoSQL, Vector, and Graph database technologies such as MongoDB, Couchbase, Cassandra, Redis, Neo4J, Oracle, SQL Server, Qdrant, Milvus, Pinecone, ChromaDB, etc.

- A strong foundation in developing AI applications and products supporting desktop, mobile, and tablet is a must.

- Adept at using design tools such as Diagrams.net, Lucidchart, PlantUML, Mermaid etc.
