Role Overview :

As a Senior Salesforce Developer (SFDC / Backend Source System), you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing complex backend solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and other developers to integrate Salesforce with various source systems, ensuring data integrity and seamless data flow. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of our clients' business processes and the accuracy of their customer data, leading to improved decision-making and enhanced customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust, scalable backend solutions on the Salesforce platform, integrating with various source systems like ERP and CDP.

- Build and maintain complex data models within Salesforce, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices for CRM data modeling.

- Develop and implement custom APIs (REST) and data integration solutions to seamlessly connect Salesforce with external systems.

- Write and optimize SQL and SOQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

- Collaborate with system architects to define and implement system integration strategies, ensuring data consistency and reliability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data integration and backend processes, minimizing disruption to business operations.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards and best practices.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on Salesforce development and integration techniques.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce backend development, including Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Queueable Apex.

- Proven ability to design and implement complex data models within Salesforce, aligned with CRM best practices.

- Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL and SOQL queries for data manipulation and reporting.

- Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs for system integration.

- Solid understanding of system architecture principles and data integration patterns.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

- 5 - 8 years of experience in Salesforce development and data integration.
