DigitalXnode - DevOps Engineer - IAC Terraform

Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. You will be instrumental in automating, scaling, and securing our infrastructure on AWS or GCP. This role involves developing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud environments, and ensuring system reliability. Key Responsibilities

- Container Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications effectively using Kubernetes.

- Cloud Networking: Configure and optimize cloud networking components, including VPC and subnets, to ensure secure and efficient communication.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Manage and provision infrastructure components using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Container Management: Work hands-on with Docker to create, manage, and optimize application containers.

- System Reliability & Performance: Monitor and continuously improve system reliability, performance, and security across all environments.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline DevOps processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement and shared ownership.

Required Technical Skills :

- Core DevOps Tools: Proficiency in Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Docker, demonstrating strong capabilities in CI/CD automation.

- Networking: Strong understanding of VPC, subnets, cloud networking concepts, and security best practices.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.

- Operating Systems & Scripting: Experience with Linux, along with strong shell scripting and Python/Bash skills for automation.

- Monitoring: Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.

Preferred Skills (Bonus) :

- GitOps Workflows: Exposure to GitOps workflows and tools (ArgoCD, Flux).

- Cloud Security: Practical experience implementing security best practices specifically for cloud environments.
