Position : Lead Digital (DGM Level)

Report to : Chief Information Officer

Location : Delhi

Role Summary :

The Lead Digital is responsible for driving the organizations enterprise-wide digital transformation, covering new digital

initiatives, business applications (including SaaS, HRMS, workflow platforms), automation (GenAI, RPA, ML), analytics & data lake programs, mobile application development, and new product innovation.

The role leads the Enterprise Digital Hub and ensures that digital solutions are scalable, secure, business-aligned, and deliver

measurable value. It requires strong communication, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, team leadership, and

presentation skills to achieve successful transformation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

1. New Digital Initiatives & Projects :

- Lead enterprise digital programs aimed at automation, efficiency improvement, customer/employee experience enhancement, and process transformation.

- Perform feasibility assessments, design thinking workshops, PoCs, and solution blueprints for new initiatives.

- Ensure digital projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with defined business impact.

- Establish governance mechanisms for sprint reviews, risk management, and milestone tracking.

2. Automation, GenAI, RPA & ML Adoption :

- Identify automation opportunities across departments using RPA, AI/ML, OCR/ICR, NLP, and generative AI.

- Evaluate automation and GenAI platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI).

- Govern bot lifecycle, exception handling, and quality controls.

- Lead AI-based solutions such as predictive analytics, anomaly detection, conversational AI, document intelligence, and self-service automation.

3. Data Analytics, BI & Data Lake :

- Build and operationalize enterprise data lakes, data pipelines, and BI frameworks.

- Lead development of dashboards, reports, KPIs, forecasting models, and advanced analytics for business stakeholders.

- Ensure strong data governance including data quality, lineage, access control, and metadata management.

- Promote self-service analytics and train departments to use BI tools effectively.

4. New Digital Products & Solutions :

- Conceptualize and launch innovative digital products that improve customer, employee, or partner experience.

- Define product roadmaps, MVPs, feature sets, and design specifications.

- Drive UI/UX standards across digital products to ensure consistency and ease of use.

- Leverage cloud, microservices, and modern architecture to scale digital products.

5. Enterprise SaaS Applications, HRMS & Business Applications :

- Oversee strategy, selection, implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise SaaS platforms (HRMS, CRM, procurement suites, performance management, customer engagement apps, e-learning, ticketing, asset management, etc.).

- Own end-to-end lifecycle of HRMS and business applications, ensuring alignment with HR, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Corporate functions.

- Lead integration of SaaS platforms with SAP and other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and iPaaS tools.

- Govern enhancements, upgrades, user provisioning, security controls, and adoption programs for all enterprise applications.

- Improve user experience through workflow automation, mobile enablement, analytics integration, and intuitive UI/UX design.

6. Mobile Applications Development & Adoption :

- Lead development and rollout of enterprise mobility solutions for employees, field operations, customers, and partners.

- Oversee app design, UI/UX, performance, security, offline capability, and integration with backend systems.

- Manage mobile app lifecycle including new features, upgrades, testing, app store releases, and analytics.

- Ensure mobile solutions enhance productivity, transparency, and operational agility.

7. Technology Evaluation, Implementation & Adoption :

- Continuously evaluate emerging digital tools and next-gen platformsGenAI, workflow systems, low-code platforms, data engineering tools, integration systems, BI suites.

- Run PoCs, vendor comparisons, commercial evaluations, and architecture reviews.

- Ensure smooth implementation and adoption through training, UAT, communication, and change management.

8. Vendor, Partner & Ecosystem Management :

- Manage relationships with SaaS providers, digital integrators, automation partners, BI vendors, and cloud suppliers.

- Conduct RFPs, negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and enforce SLAs.

- Drive vendor governance through periodic reviews, quality checks, and innovation contributions.

9. Team Leadership & Capability Building :

- Lead a multidisciplinary digital team (solution architects, developers, RPA engineers, data analysts, product owners).

- Define KPIs, performance objectives, and upskilling plans.

- Build internal capabilities for automation, analytics, and application management.

10. Stakeholder Communication, Collaboration & Presentation

- Partner with CXOs, business heads, and functional leaders to ensure digital roadmap alignment.

- Communicate digital strategies, project updates, KPIs, and business value clearly and succinctly.

- Deliver high-impact presentations and training sessions to leadership and cross-functional teams.

- Drive user adoption through structured training, communication plans, and change management.

Competencies :

- Strong understanding of enterprise applications (SaaS, HRMS, CRM, workflow, mobility).

- Expertise in automation (RPA/GenAI), analytics, cloud architecture, integration platforms, and modern development tools.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

- Strong vendor management and contract negotiation capabilities.

- Effective team leadership and people management skills.

- Ability to convert business needs into scalable digital solutions.

- Innovation-oriented mindset with rapid execution capability.

Qualifications & Experience

- 12 to 18+ years in digital transformation, enterprise applications, automation, or technology consulting.

- Hands-on experience with SaaS applications, HRMS platforms, RPA/AI tools, BI tools, and data lake architectures.

- Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure/AWS/GCP), mobile app frameworks, APIs, and microservices.

- Preferred certifications : Agile, Scrum, Product Management, RPA, Cloud, Analytics.

KPIs (Success Metrics) :

- Successful delivery of digital initiatives vs. roadmap.

- Adoption and performance of SaaS applications & HRMS modules.

- Automation impact : hours saved, processes automated, GenAI use cases deployed.

- BI adoption and data-driven decision-making improvement.

- Mobile app usage, performance, and user satisfaction.
