About the Role :

We are looking for an Engineering Manager who thrives on building strong teams, delivering predictable outcomes, and partnering closely with product and business stakeholders. This role is primarily focused on people leadership, execution excellence, and engineering culture, while maintaining strong technical credibility to guide architectural decisions. Success in this role is measured by team growth, delivery reliability, and the ability to create a high performing and collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities :

1. People Leadership :

- Build, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams (10 to 15 members)

- Lead hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development

- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement

- Handle conflict resolution, coaching, and team engagement initiatives

2. Delivery & Execution :

- Own end-to-end delivery for complex product and platform initiatives

- Partner with Product, Architecture, and Operations to ensure aligned execution

- Improve delivery predictability, quality, and engineering velocity

- Drive Agile / Scrum best practices and continuous process improvements

3. Technical Leadership :

- Provide architectural guidance and design reviews without being hands-on coding

- Ensure sound engineering practices across microservices, cloud, and platform architecture

- Support teams in making scalable, secure, and maintainable design decisions

- Act as a technical sounding board and mentor for senior engineers

Required Experience :

- 10+ years in software engineering with recent experience leading engineering teams

- Proven track record of managing and scaling teams in product-driven environments

- Experience delivering complex distributed systems or enterprise platforms

- Strong understanding of modern architecture patterns (microservices, APIs, event-driven systems)

- Must have hands on experience into Java, SpringBoot Microservice Architecture.

- Must have hands on experience into building products.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

- Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models

- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Experience :

- Background in fintech, banking, or regulated enterprise domains

- Experience working in product or platform-based organizations

- Exposure to caching strategies, workflow systems, or enterprise integration patterns

- Prior experience managing multi-team or program-level initiatives
