We are looking for an experienced Digital Enterprise Architect to define, govern, and evolve the enterprise-wide architecture for large-scale e-commerce, customer self-service, and digital experience platforms.

This role will play a critical part in shaping the long-term architectural strategy for platforms such as Oracle Commerce and Salesforce Experience Cloud, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business growth, new product introductions (NPI), and digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring strong enterprise architecture leadership, deep expertise in commerce and CRM platforms, and the ability to bridge business vision with robust, future-ready technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture Strategy & Roadmap :

- Define and maintain the long-term enterprise architecture vision and roadmap for self-service, commerce, and customer experience platforms

- Lead architecture decisions supporting new product introductions (NPI), digital transformation, and platform modernization

- Evaluate emerging technologies and new platform capabilities within Oracle and Salesforce ecosystems to guide build vs buy decisions

Solution & Platform Architecture :

- Design the target-state architecture for integrated Oracle Commerce and Salesforce Experience Cloud landscapes

- Architect solutions across application, data, integration, and infrastructure layers

- Define clear roles for platforms as systems of record vs systems of engagement

- Ensure architecture supports high availability, scalability, performance, and resilience during peak commerce traffic

Integration & Data Architecture :

- Define standardized integration strategies and patterns (API-led, event-driven)

- Design data and process flows between Oracle Commerce, Salesforce (Sales, Service, Marketing Cloud), ERP, PIM, and other enterprise systems

- Design end-to-end data architecture covering customer, product, order, and content domains

- Drive a unified customer view by connecting commerce, experience, and marketing data

- Enable data aggregation and transformation for advanced analytics and business intelligence

Security, IAM & Compliance :

- Establish and govern security architecture standards across platforms

- Define Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies including authentication, authorization, and access controls

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and data privacy standards such as GDPR, CCPA, and enterprise security policies

- Oversee encryption, data protection, and secure integration practices

Governance & Risk Management :

- Identify and mitigate architectural risks related to platform choices, integrations, data volumes, and technical obsolescence

- Proactively identify and propose technical debt remediation strategies

- Ensure alignment with enterprise IT governance, SDLC, and lifecycle management processes

Leadership & Collaboration :

- Act as a trusted technical advisor in vendor and licensing discussions, ensuring optimal platform usage

- Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and IT stakeholders to translate business capabilities into technical architectures

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to solution architects, technical leads, and development teams

- Review architecture designs and guide teams during implementation, customization, and integration

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, or equivalent experience

- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, digital architecture, or technical leadership roles

- Extensive experience with enterprise e-commerce platforms, preferably Oracle Commerce

- Strong expertise in Salesforce CRM and Experience Cloud (Sales, Service, Marketing Cloud)

- Deep understanding of enterprise system architecture, application design, and integration principles

- Strong experience designing secure, scalable, and high-performance architectures

- Hands-on experience with SQL and enterprise data modeling concepts

- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred / Good to Have :

- Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud and CPQ

- Exposure to API management platforms and middleware

- Experience working in regulated industries

- Prior involvement in large-scale digital commerce or CRM transformation programs
