About the Role

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, configure, and implement scalable solutions across various ServiceNow modules.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in custom application development, integrations, and platform administration, ensuring adherence to ServiceNow best practices and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Design & Development :

- Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and others.

Customizations & Automation :

- Build and maintain catalog items, workflows, client/server scripts, UI policies, business rules, and Flow Designer automations.

Integration Management :

- Implement and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub.

System Administration :

- Manage instance upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting while ensuring minimal downtime.

Best Practices & Governance :

- Ensure all development adheres to ServiceNow coding standards, naming conventions, and security guidelines.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver efficient, scalable solutions.

Documentation :

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and configuration guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Jelly, and UI development within ServiceNow.

- Experience working on modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or Custom Apps.

- Solid understanding of Service Portal, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.

- Experience with ServiceNow REST/SOAP APIs and third-party system integrations.

- Knowledge of ServiceNow ACLs, roles, security, and data policies.

- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.

- Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Implementation Specialist certifications preferred.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Familiarity with CMDB, Discovery, or Service Mapping is a plus
