Digile - OCI Lead/Architect

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) Lead / Architect with strong expertise in database design, migration, and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, architect, and implement OCI-based cloud solutions for enterprise applications.

- Lead the migration of on-premise databases and applications to OCI.

- Define OCI architecture best practices, security, networking, and monitoring standards.

- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and database teams to ensure seamless integration.

- Manage OCI tenancy setup, compartments, IAM policies, and resource provisioning.

- Evaluate and optimize performance, scalability, and cost of OCI deployments.

- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the project team.

- Stay updated with OCI service enhancements and provide recommendations for adoption.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 810 years of overall IT experience with at least 4+ years in OCI architecture and implementation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle databases (12c/19c) installation, tuning, backup/recovery, migration, and DR.

- Expertise in OCI services such as Compute, Networking, Object Storage, Load Balancer, Autonomous Database, and Database Cloud Service.

- Experience with database migration tools (RMAN, Data Pump, GoldenGate, DMS).

- Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, Terraform) for automation and infrastructure provisioning.

- Good understanding of OCI security, IAM, policies, and governance.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in large-scale deployments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- OCI Architect Professional Certification (preferred).

- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.

- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
