Job Description

Key Accountabilities :

- Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to align testing priorities with business objectives.

- Establish a consistent testing framework, standards, and governance across all regions.

- Drive cross-team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practices globally.

- Mentor and develop testing leads and managers to build strong local leadership capability.

- Define and implement an automation-first strategy across functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Increase automation coverage, reduce manual regression effort, and drive faster release cycles.

- Standardize automation frameworks, tools, and processes across global teams.

- Monitor adoption and continuously improve automation maturity and effectiveness.

- Ensure robust functional testing practices, including risk-based testing, test design quality, and traceability.

- Establish KPIs to monitor defect leakage, test coverage, and overall quality metrics.

- Ensure applications meet defined SLAs, scalability, reliability, and performance benchmarks.

- Drive integration of test automation into CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.

- Promote Infrastructure-as-Code, environment provisioning automation, and test data automation.

- Enable continuous testing to support faster, higher-quality releases.

Experience, Technical And Soft Skills :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.

- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in managerial roles.

- Proven experience managing large, distributed engineering teams and complex enterprise platforms.

- Extensive understanding of software development and the SDLC.

- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Azure SQL, Data Factory, Functions, AKS, Azure DevOps, etc.

- Solid background in Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices, preferably with scrum master certification.

- Experience managing development teams from both a project and a support perspective.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

- Ability to build high-performing, motivated, and collaborative teams.

- Experience managing external service providers

- Experience in managing globally distributed teams.

- Highly organized and a good multi-tasker

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
