DigiHelic Solutions - Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Process Engineer to join our Network Security team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, implementing, and continually improving critical network security processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Process Analysis & Design : Analyze existing network security processes across various operational areas, including incident response, vulnerability management, access control, and endpoint protection. Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

- Process Documentation & Implementation : Document new and improved processes using standard notations (e.g., BPMN) to ensure clarity and consistency. Develop implementation plans and facilitate the rollout of new processes, ensuring seamless adoption by relevant teams.

- Process Improvement & Optimization : Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented processes. Propose and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve overall network security posture.

- Network Security Tooling Integration : Collaborate with technical teams to ensure security tools and technologies (e.g., Akamai products, NAC, Endpoint Security solutions) are effectively integrated into defined processes.

- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with Network Security Engineers, Architects, IT Operations, and other relevant teams to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and ensure processes meet operational needs and security objectives.

- Compliance & Best Practices : Ensure all processes adhere to relevant IT security standards and best practices, contributing to compliance efforts.

- Reporting & Communication : Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation and reports on process performance, improvements, and challenges. Effectively communicate process changes and updates to all stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Proven experience as a Process Engineer or in a similar role focusing on process analysis, documentation, implementation, and improvement within an IT or network security context.

- Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve complex processes using standard notations and methodologies based on IT best practices.

- Familiarity and practical experience with Akamai Products, specifically within the network security domain (e.g., Zero Trust Security solutions, DDoS protection, API security, WAF).

- Solid understanding and experience with Network Access Control (NAC) principles and solutions.

- Strong knowledge and experience in Endpoint Security concepts and technologies.

- Highly analytical mindset with a proven track record of problem-solving and critical thinking in a technical environment.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues across various teams.

- Enthusiasm for process engineering with a strong affinity toward IT and network security concepts.

Desired Skills and Qualifications (Plus Points) :

- Certifications in IT Security Standards (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) and/or Process Frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT).

- Prior international working experience.
