Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) specializing in Selenium and Java, located in Gurugram, Haryana,.

The Senior SDET will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, as well as executing and analyzing test results to ensure software quality.

Daily tasks include collaborating with the development team, identifying test requirements, debugging, and reporting defects, and continuously improving test automation frameworks.

The candidate will contribute to the delivery of reliable software products and collaborate in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications :

Responsibilities :

- 7 years of experience as SDET.

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for UI and API testing.

- Collaborate with development and product teams to define testing strategies and ensure product quality.

- Analyze and troubleshoot test failures to identify root causes.

- Contribute to the overall QA strategy by collaborating with team members to enhance testing processes and frameworks.

Required Skills :

- Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, WebdriverIO, Cypress, or Equivalent.

- Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or equivalent languages.

- Experience with TDD/BDD frameworks such as Mocha or equivalent.

- Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows.

- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent.

Good to Have :

- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline etc.

- Experience with Kafka consumer/producer testing.

- Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
