Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Support Engineer with 57 years of hands-on expertise in managing, automating, and supporting large-scale infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and monitoring solutions, along with a passion for improving deployment efficiency, system reliability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

CI/CD Pipeline Management :

- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.

- Automate build, test, and deployment workflows to ensure smooth, reliable releases.

Cloud & Infrastructure Support :

- Manage and support cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.

Containerization & Orchestration :

- Deploy, monitor, and maintain Kubernetes (K8s) clusters and Docker containers in production environments.

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of containerized workloads.

Monitoring, Logging & Incident Management :

- Implement and maintain observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog).

- Configure proactive alerting and incident response processes.

- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement DevSecOps best practices in build and deployment pipelines.

- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.

Collaboration & Support :

- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to resolve deployment and infrastructure issues.

- Provide L2/L3 support for production environments and critical systems.

Required Skills & Experience :

Core Skills :

- 5 to 7 years of relevant DevOps/support experience in large-scale environments.

- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).

- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Shell.

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

Cloud Platforms :

- Strong experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS) or Azure/GCP equivalents.

Infrastructure-as-Code :

- Expertise in Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.

Monitoring & Logging :

- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, or similar.

OS & Networking :

- Proficiency with Linux/Unix administration.

- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, load balancers, and DNS.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and API gateway solutions.

- Exposure to multi-cloud environments and hybrid infrastructure setups.

- Familiarity with serverless and edge computing deployment models.

- Experience in performance tuning for cloud-native applications.
