About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Azure & DevOps Specialist to design, build, and optimize cloud-native applications and deployment pipelines on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure services, CI/CD automation, environment management, and Python-based scripting.

You will work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth, reliable, and secure deployments across environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud services including Functions, App Services, AAD, Storage Accounts, and Monitoring solutions.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML) and/or GitHub Actions.

- Manage source control, branching strategies, and release workflows using Git and standard DevOps practices.

- Troubleshoot deployment issues across dev, QA, and production environments, ensuring system reliability and performance.

- Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts to support deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.

- Support environment setup, infrastructure provisioning, and deployment lifecycle management.

- Implement DevOps best practices for scalability, availability, performance, and security.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline development and release processes.

Primary Skills Required :

Strong hands-on experience with Azure services :

1. Azure Functions

2. App Services

3. Azure Active Directory (AAD)

4. Azure Storage

5. Azure Monitoring tools

Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline development using :

1. Azure DevOps YAML

2. GitHub Actions

- Solid understanding of DevOps fundamentals including Git, Docker, build/release workflows, and automation.

- Strong ability to perform deployment troubleshooting and manage multi-environment setups.

- Proficiency in Python scripting (ability to write small scripts, debug, and understand code flow).

Secondary Skills :

- Good working knowledge of Python for automation and workflow improvement.

- Understanding of infrastructure automation principles and tools.

- Basic familiarity with networking concepts, cloud security best practices, and identity management.

Optional / Good-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to Kubernetes (AKS) for container orchestration.

- Experience using Terraform or ARM Templates for IaC (Infrastructure as Code).

- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and extended Azure Monitor capabilities.

- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end Azure cloud infrastructure deployments.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Additional Notes :

- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-400, etc.) are a plus.

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
