DevOps Engineer - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Role : OCI DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an OCI DevOps Engineer with 34 years of experience and strong banking domain expertise for a 3-month contractual full-time remote role.

The candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and automating cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring high reliability, security, and scalability of banking applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines using OCI services.

- Automate provisioning, deployment, and monitoring of banking applications on OCI.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline CI/CD processes.

- Manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or OCI Resource Manager.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost.

- Implement security best practices in cloud deployments, adhering to banking compliance standards.

- Support migration of applications and workloads to OCI, ensuring minimal downtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in OCI DevOps/Cloud Engineering.

- Banking Domain : Proven experience in banking or financial services.

- Cloud & DevOps Tools : OCI services (Compute, Networking, IAM, Object Storage), Terraform, Ansible, OCI Resource Manager.

- CI/CD Tools : Jenkins, Git, GitHub, GitLab, or similar.

- Containerization & Orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes (OKE preferred).

- Scripting Languages : Shell, Python, or similar for automation.

- Monitoring & Logging : Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, OCI Monitoring.

- Soft Skills : Strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
