DevOps Engineer - IT Infrastructure Automation

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

CI/CD & GitHub Actions :

- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for multiple applications and environments.

- Develop reusable GHA workflows, composite actions, and templates to standardize CI/CD practices.

- Migration of GHA workflows from Jenkin, uDeploy or any other CI-CD tool

Automation & Infrastructure :

- Support containerized applications using Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.

- Implement environment specific deployment strategies (dev, test, staging, production).

Cloud & Platform Operations :

- Work with cloud platforms such as GCP/OpenShift to support application deployments.

- Configure and manage cloud native services for compute, storage, networking, and monitoring.

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of deployed systems.

Security & Compliance :

- Integrate security checks into GitHub Actions pipelines (SAST, dependency scanning, secrets scanning, container image scanning).

- Enforce secure access management, secrets handling, and artifact protection.

- Support compliance with organizational security and governance standards.

Monitoring & Reliability :

- Should be able to push pipeline metrics using GHA to Newrelic or any other tool

- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.

- Improve deployment reliability through automated testing and rollback mechanisms.

Collaboration & Improvement :

- Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and security teams to improve DevOps maturity.

- Provide guidance and best practices on CI/CD and automation workflows.

- Continuously evaluate and adopt new DevOps tools, features, and industry best practices.
