Job Title : DevOps Engineer

Job Overview :

- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer who is passionate about building scalable infrastructure, automating delivery pipelines, and enhancing developer productivity.

- The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud-native technologies, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines, with a deep understanding of DevOps best practices.

- This role focuses on reliability, automation, and developer enablement through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and modern deployment strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain configuration management pipelines using Chef and/or Salt.

- Manage and operate multiple Kubernetes (K8s) clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

- Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for Continuous Integration and ArgoCD/Spinnaker for Continuous Deployment.

- Automate developer and DevOps workflows to maximize development efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

- Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent and repeatable infrastructure provisioning.

- Assist in troubleshooting infrastructure issues, application deployment challenges, and developer-related problems.

- Develop internal tools and utilities using Python and related frameworks such as Django.

- Write and maintain scripts using Bash and/or Python for automation and system operations.

- Monitor system performance and reliability using metrics collection and monitoring tools such as Prometheus.

- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and deployment processes.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, tools, and best practices.

- Proficiency in Kubernetes and core Kubernetes concepts.

- Hands-on experience with Chef/Salt and Terraform.

- Programming experience in Python, with exposure to frameworks such as Django.

- Strong scripting skills using Bash and/or Python.

- Experience working with BSD, GNU/Linux, or other Unix-like operating systems.

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools, preferably Prometheus.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

- Relevant DevOps or cloud certifications are a plus
