This role will be instrumental in scaling and optimizing the Tekion platform infrastructure hosted on AWS, with a core focus on automation, cloud-native architecture, containerization, CI/CD pipeline development, and proactive monitoring.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, reliability, security, and performance of our cloud infrastructure and software delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure Design & Management :

- Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS (experience with Azure is a plus).

- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

CI/CD Pipeline Engineering :

- Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

- Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and deployment strategies into the pipelines for high-velocity software delivery.

Automation & Scripting :

- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages to streamline manual tasks across deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes.

- Drive configuration management using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

Containerization & Orchestration :

- Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker.

- Orchestrate and manage workloads using Kubernetes or AWS ECS/EKS.

Monitoring, Logging, and Incident Management :

- Implement and maintain observability stacks using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), CloudWatch, or TICK Stack.

- Proactively monitor system health and performance metrics; set up alerts and dashboards.

- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-mortem reviews.

Security & Compliance :

- Ensure security best practices across infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines.

- Integrate compliance checks, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning into CI/CD processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.

- Expertise in cloud platforms, primarily AWS; familiarity with Azure is advantageous.

- Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation and scripting tasks.

- Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent.

- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.

- Strong hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring).

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or AWS CloudWatch.

- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

- Working knowledge of networking concepts, system administration (Linux-based), and performance tuning.

- Experience in securing DevOps pipelines and integrating DevSecOps practices is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent certification.

- Exposure to service mesh (e.g., Istio) or serverless architectures.

- Hands-on experience with GitOps practices and tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.

- Knowledge of artifact repositories (e.g., Nexus, Artifactory) and container registries (e.g., ECR, Docker Hub).
