Role Overview :

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, maintaining, and scaling the infrastructure that powers our core platforms. You will work closely with development and QA teams to bridge the gap between code and deployment, ensuring that our systems remain resilient, secure, and highly available. Your daily efforts will directly impact the efficiency of our release cycles and the overall stability of the production environment, allowing the business to deploy features with speed and confidence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and manage automated CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery and reduce manual intervention in the release process.

- Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes to ensure seamless scaling and high availability across production environments.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to maintain consistent and reproducible cloud environments on AWS.

- Automate configuration management and system provisioning tasks using Ansible to minimize human error and improve operational efficiency.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production incidents to maintain optimal uptime and service reliability for end-users.

- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate security best practices and performance optimizations into the development lifecycle.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, with a deep understanding of VPCs, EC2, S3, and IAM policies.

- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes, to manage microservices architectures.

- Strong command over Linux system administration, including shell scripting and performance tuning for high-traffic applications.

- Proven ability to write automation scripts using Python to streamline repetitive tasks and integrate disparate system components.

- Experience in managing version control workflows using Git and orchestrating complex build processes with Jenkins.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical constraints and solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to thrive in an on-site work environment in Mohali, demonstrating self-motivation and a collaborative mindset when working within a team.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, supported by 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles.
