DevOps Engineer - IAC Terraform

Role :

Seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join the engineering team.

In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain infrastructure that enables rapid development, secure deployments, and reliable operations.

You will partner closely with software engineers, QA, and product teams to build scalable systems that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and safe software delivery.

- Implement and monitor infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).

- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance across environments.

- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog,

etc.)

- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.

- Enhance security posture by enforcing best practices for IAM, networking, and compliance.

- Troubleshoot production issues and support on-call rotations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve developer productivity and system

reliability.

Required Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.

- Proven hands-on expertise with AWS services and architecture design.

- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).

- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS).

- Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI or similar).

- Solid scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent).

- Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals.

- Experience implementing observability (metrics, logging, tracing, alerting).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with serverless frameworks (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions).

- Familiarity with security and compliance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).

- Experience managing relational and NoSQL databases (RDS, DynamoDB, etc.)

- Background in FinOps or cloud cost optimization strategies.
