DevOps Engineer - IAC Terraform

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and optimize cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Azure services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and cloud migration. This role requires strong hands-on engineering capability, architectural understanding, and the ability to work across development, operations, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Azure Cloud Engineering :

- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud architectures using Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure Storage, VNets, Load Balancers, API Management, and Azure Key Vault.

- Configure and optimize Azure Virtual Machines, networking, storage accounts, and security configurations.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

DevOps & Automation :

- Build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, YAML pipelines, and automation scripting.

- Integrate automated build, test, and deployment processes for multiple environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Production).

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, with reusable modules, version control, and state management.

Cloud Infrastructure & Operations :

- Implement scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud infrastructure aligned with best practices.

- Manage access, identity, and security controls using Azure AD, RBAC, and policy enforcement.

- Perform cost optimization and cloud resource governance across environments.

Cloud Migration & Integrations :

- Lead cloud migration initiatives (On-Prem to Cloud or Cloud to Cloud).

- Conduct system assessments, migration planning, application modernization, and cloud readiness analysis.

- Integrate cloud services with on-prem applications and hybrid systems securely and reliably.

Performance, Security & Compliance :

- Perform infrastructure performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

- Implement DevSecOps practices including secrets management, policy-as-code, vulnerability scanning, and automated compliance checks.

- Ensure all solutions adhere to enterprise security guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6- 14 years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in Azure Cloud and DevOps roles.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including PaaS, IaaS, networking, identity, and monitoring services.

- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.

- Expertise in Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (multi-stage, YAML, templates).

- Strong understanding of cloud networking: VNets, Subnets, NSG, Firewalls, DNS, VPN, ExpressRoute.

- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

- Proven experience with enterprise-level cloud migration and integration projects.

- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
