Company Overview:
Is a technology solutions firm specializing in high-scale automation and infrastructure engineering for the healthcare sector. We build robust, secure, and compliant platforms that streamline clinical workflows and patient data management. Operating at the intersection of health-tech and cloud engineering, we support global healthcare providers in digitizing their operations through scalable, cloud-native architectures and automated delivery pipelines.
Role Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer focused on healthcare automation, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our critical medical applications. You will work closely with software development teams, security architects, and clinical product owners to ensure that our deployment pipelines are seamless, secure, and fully compliant with healthcare data standards. Your work directly impacts the reliability of systems used by healthcare professionals, ensuring that automation reduces manual overhead while maintaining the highest levels of system uptime and data integrity in a remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to accelerate the delivery of healthcare software while maintaining strict quality gates.
- Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker to ensure high availability and scalability across cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to validate deployment integrity and reduce regression risks in production environments.
- Manage event-driven data streaming architectures using Kafka to ensure real-time processing of patient data and clinical alerts.
- Design and deploy cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS, focusing on cost-optimization, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Develop and maintain RESTful API integrations to facilitate seamless communication between disparate clinical systems and microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot infrastructure bottlenecks and optimize system performance for mission-critical health applications.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex cloud environments on AWS and Azure, with a deep understanding of cloud-native security best practices.
- Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration platforms using Kubernetes and Docker in a production-grade setting.
- Strong proficiency in integrating Kafka for high-throughput data pipelines and designing robust RESTful services.
- Ability to design and execute comprehensive automation testing strategies that ensure system reliability in high-stakes healthcare environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical infrastructure requirements to non-technical stakeholders and clinical partners.
- Proven track record of working effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating self-discipline, proactive problem-solving, and strong time management.
- A minimum of 6 to 8 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering, preferably within the healthcare or highly regulated technology sectors.
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in large-scale system administration.
