DevOps Engineer - Google Cloud Platform

Description :

We are looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with a strong focus on GKE, Kubernetes, automation, and CI/CD. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on skills in container orchestration, Linux administration, automation frameworks, and cloud monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable DevOps solutions on GCP and GKE.

- Manage Docker containers, Docker Compose setups, and microservices-based deployments.

- Build and maintain Kubernetes manifests and support deployment strategies (Rolling, Blue-Green, Canary, etc.).

- Configure and manage cloud monitoring and logging systems (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).

- Perform Linux system administration in complex, multi-tier infrastructure environments (OAT, NAS,

NetBackup, Puppet).

- Automate deployments and configurations using Ansible and Ansible Tower.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and Groovy scripting.

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth, secure, and reliable deployments.

- Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure system reliability and scalability.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with GCP, GKE, and Kubernetes orchestration.

- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes manifests, and deployment automation.

- Solid Linux system administration skills.

- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and Groovy.

- Experience with Ansible / Ansible Tower for automation.

- Knowledge of cloud monitoring tools: Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Puppet, NetBackup, and NAS systems.

- Understanding of infrastructure security and best DevOps practices.

- Exposure to large-scale, enterprise-level cloud environments.
