DevOps Engineer - Google Cloud Platform

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters (GKE) including node pools, scaling, networking, ingress, and troubleshooting.

- Configure and manage network infrastructure VPCs, subnets, NAT gateways, routing, and firewall rules.

- Build and manage CI/CD automation pipelines using Jenkins, handling build, deploy, and environment promotion workflows.

- Ensure optimal infrastructure performance, cost-efficiency, and security compliance.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams for seamless application delivery.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

- Implement best practices for container orchestration, observability, and high availability.

Secondary Responsibilities :

- Work with front-end deployment teams using Vue.js and React.js microservices understand build and deployment pipelines (no coding required).

- Support deployment automation and integration with microservice-based architectures.

Required Skills :

- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes (GKE) cluster lifecycle, networking, ingress, Helm, and troubleshooting.

- Strong understanding of networking concepts VPC, NATing, routing, load balancing, and firewall configuration.

- Experience in CI/CD automation using Jenkins pipelines (build, test, deploy).

- Familiarity with MongoDB and PostgreSQL (administration, monitoring, backup/restore).

- Exposure to frontend deployment pipelines for Vue.js and React.js applications.

- Proficiency in Linux administration, Docker, and scripting (Bash, Python, or Shell).

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Good to Have :

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver.

- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and Cloud IAM policies.

- GCP certification (Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional DevOps Engineer) is an added advantage
