DevOps Engineer - Docker/Kubernetes

Key Responsibilities :

Automation & CI/CD :

- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions

- Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes

Infrastructure Management :

- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation

- Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise servers

Monitoring & Performance :

- Implement monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot production issues

Security & Compliance :

- Ensure secure configurations and manage secrets using tools like Vault or AWS Secrets Manager

- Support compliance initiatives (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001)

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Work closely with developers and QA to ensure smooth releases

- Document processes, configurations, and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems

- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)

- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices

- Understanding of networking, security, and system architecture

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes

- Experience with observability tools (Datadog, New Relic)

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Background in software development
