Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 6 to 9 years of experience to support our cloud migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in migrating applications from AWS to GCP, with strong knowledge of cloud platforms, DevOps tools, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead or support the migration of applications from AWS to GCP (Lift & Shift, Re-Platform, Re-Architect approaches)

- Work with GCP services, especially GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) and GCP SDK

- Perform application assessments to determine migration readiness

- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to support build and deployment processes

- Collaborate with development teams using Java, .NET, or Python

- Monitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure performance post-migration

- Ensure security, scalability, and reliability throughout the migration process

Required Skills :

- Proven experience in cloud migration projects (AWS to GCP)

- Hands-on experience with GKE, GCP SDK, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)

- Strong programming/scripting knowledge in Java, .NET, or Python

- Familiarity with application assessment tools and methodologies

- Solid understanding of DevOps best practices

Preferred Qualifications :

- Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer)

- Experience in re-architecting legacy applications for cloud-native platforms

- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
