DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Role & responsibilities :

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines :

- Automate software build, test, and deployment processes.

- Ensure smooth and reliable releases.

Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :

- Develop and maintain scripts for provisioning and configuring cloud/on-prem resources.

- Use tools like Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.

Cloud Infrastructure Management :

- Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications and infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Handle scalability, security, and cost optimization.

Containerization & Orchestration :

- Build and maintain Docker containers.

- Manage Kubernetes clusters and deployments.

Monitoring and Incident Management :

- Set up monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

- Proactively identify and troubleshoot system issues.

- Participate in incident response and post-mortems.

Collaboration with Development and Operations Teams :

- Work closely with software developers to streamline software delivery.

- Bridge gaps between development, QA, and operations.

Security and Compliance :

- Integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines.

- Manage secrets, compliance checks, vulnerability scanning.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing :

- Write and maintain clear documentation on infrastructure and processes.

- Mentor team members on DevOps practices.

Preferred candidate profile :

Technical Skills :

- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell).

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

- Solid understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.

- Knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration.

- Basic networking knowledge.

- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
