We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with 5-8 years of experience to take ownership of our scalable, highly available, and secure infrastructure.

This role is based in Bangalore and requires proven expertise in multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), deep knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration, and hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

The engineer will be instrumental in designing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, automating workflows, and providing technical leadership to ensure optimal application performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud and Infrastructure Management (IaC) :

- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across major platforms : AWS, GCP, and Azure.

- Automate infrastructure management using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.

- Write reusable and maintainable IaC templates for consistently deploying scalable infrastructure components.

- Develop and maintain auto-scaling solutions to support high-availability and dynamic performance demands.

Containerization and Orchestration :

- Set up, monitor, and manage complex Kubernetes clusters for seamless application deployment and efficient resource utilization.

- Manage and optimise Docker containers for scalability, security, and efficiency across all environments.

- Provide technical guidance to software engineering teams on best practices for deploying and scaling containerized applications.

CI/CD and Automation :

- Build, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD for efficient code integration and deployment velocity.

- Automate workflows to significantly reduce manual interventions and increase deployment frequency and reliability.

Monitoring, Security, and Troubleshooting :

- Implement robust monitoring tools to track system health, application performance, and identify potential bottlenecks.

- Troubleshoot critical issues in production environments, focusing on root cause analysis and developing proactive solutions to prevent future downtime.

- Ensure comprehensive security measures are integrated into all DevOps processes and CI/CD workflows (DevSecOps principles).

Qualifications :

Experience : Mandatory 5-8 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure engineering, or related technical roles.

Multi-Cloud Expertise : Proven track record in managing cloud services and infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms.

Container Technologies : Expertise in Kubernetes for cluster management and orchestration, and strong hands-on experience with Docker.

Automation : Mandatory hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.

Networking & Architecture : Solid understanding of advanced networking concepts (load balancing, DNS, firewalls) and high-availability architecture design principles.

CI/CD : Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms, with the ability to design and optimise deployment pipelines
