DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

CI/CD & Pipeline Engineering :

- Develop advanced CI/CD pipelines using DSL scripting with a focus on modularity and scalability.

- Integrate security controls, automated checks, and compliance frameworks within pipelines.

- Perform proactive troubleshooting, build optimization, and pipeline performance tuning.

Containerization & Build Security :

- Expert-level Docker management including multi-stage builds, image hardening, and vulnerability scanning.

- Optimize Docker images for Java, Scala, and Python workloads.

Configuration & Automation :

- Develop advanced Ansible playbooks for configuration management and large-scale automation.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment setup across multi-node systems.

Kubernetes (Primary Focus) :

- Manage on-premises Kubernetes clusters with deep expertise in : Cluster operations and lifecycle management Security hardening and RBAC Networking and service mesh

- Persistent storage, volumes, and backup/restore Optimize workloads for performance, reliability, and resilience.

Code Quality & Governance :

- Integrate and manage SonarQube with CI/CD pipelines.

- Define and enforce quality gates, thresholds, and code governance policies.

- DevSecOps Implement end-to-end security scanning, compliance automation, and vulnerability remediation workflows.

- Manage workload protection, secrets management, and secure SDLC practices.

Data Engineering (Preferred) :

- Moderate understanding of Spark ETL/ETA processes, distributed job execution, and configuration tuning.

Required Skills :

- Kubernetes

- Docker

- Expert in automation and configuration management

- Strong knowledge of security automation

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and performance tuning capabilities

- Ability to work in complex distributed environments

- Excellent communication and documentation skills

Good to Have :

- Experience in on-prem to cloud migration

- Familiarity with service mesh (Istio/Linkerd)

- Knowledge of GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux)

- SRE concepts and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
