DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating, scaling, and optimizing our software delivery and infrastructure management processes. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure efficient CI/CD pipelines, high system availability, and smooth deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.

- Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Automate provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of production environments.

- Collaborate with developers to optimize application performance and deployment strategies.

- Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and access controls in Git.

- Implement and enforce DevSecOps best practices for secure and compliant deployments.

- Participate in on-call rotations and production issue resolution as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering.

- Strong experience with Linux-based systems administration.

- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps).

- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).

- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Shell.

- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).

- Understanding of networking, security, and load balancing concepts.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch, Grafana, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in AWS (DevOps Engineer / Solutions Architect) or equivalent.

- Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd) and serverless architectures.

- Experience with GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux).

- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
