DevOps Engineer - AWS/Google Cloud Platform

Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS or GCP cloud platforms to design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of cloud services, automation, infrastructure as code, container orchestration, monitoring, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud & Infrastructure :

- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP.

- Implement secure, scalable, and highly available architectures.

- Manage VPC, IAM, EC2/GCE, Storage services, Load Balancers, Networking, etc.

CI/CD & Automation :

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or Cloud Build.

- Automate deployment processes for microservices and cloud resources.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform / CloudFormation.

Containers & Orchestration :

- Work with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE).

- Manage Helm charts, service mesh, and cluster scaling.

Monitoring, Logging & Security :

- Set up monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Stackdriver, ELK, or Splunk.

- Implement cloud security best practices, identity management, and policy enforcement.

- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure reliability.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with development, QA, and architecture teams.

- Support production releases, optimize performance, and ensure high uptime.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in AWS and/or GCP cloud platforms.

- Expertise in CI/CD tools and deployment automation.

- Proficient in Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent IaC tools.

- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or GKE).

- Experience with Linux administration & shell scripting (Bash/Python).

- Hands-on with Networking, Load Balancers, DNS, VPC, Security Groups, Firewalls.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

- Good understanding of DevOps best practices, Git, and version control.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd).

- Exposure to serverless (AWS Lambda / Cloud Functions).

- Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, or message queues.

- Certification : AWS DevOps Engineer / GCP Professional DevOps Engineer.
